Established in 1976

Shakti Associates was founded in 1976 by Mr. Anant Limaye a Civil Engineer and Mr. Suresh Bapat, a Mechanical Engineer.

At a time when only imported fasteners were available in India, Shakti started manufacturing pin type anchor bolts and made its name as a reliable brand that offers highest quality products.

Mr. Prakash Barve joined in the 80s for active marketing and is still ably guiding the team.

It was prominently used in Konkan Railways, all major elevator companies and civil works.

The Team

Currently, the team taking Shakti forward and leading the company comprises of -

Karan Bapat (B.E. Mech and M.S. Industrial ) : After gaining valuable experience for a Tier One automotive firm, he has been heading the development team at United Industries, one of the leading hand tool suppliers in the country and also handling various high profile projects at K.E.W. along with Kedar, and now at Shakti Associates.

Kedar Tulpule (B.E. Mechanical, MBA Operations) :
After making his name as a design wiz for 5 years at Atlas Copco India and Belgium, Kedar started his own firm, Kedar Engineering Works which specializes in design and manufacturing with a client list boasting of Atlas Copco and Forbes Marshall and Unittkom KFT, Hungary to name a few.

Kaustubh Kakatkar (B.E. Mechanical ) : The young prodigy was chosen as the CAE Head at M-Baja and E-Baja in his graduation days. Kaustubh has been ably heading the design and manufacturing team at Kedar Engineering Works and Shakti Associates and loves to bring new ideas to the table.
